Stuhlmann's White-eye is a species found in the montane forests of East Africa. It is a typical white-eye with olive-green plumage and a prominent eye-ring.
Where to spot
Found in montane forests of East Africa, particularly in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. Inhabits montane evergreen forests, often at higher elevations.
How to spot
Look for its prominent white eye-ring, overall olive-green plumage, and plain yellowish underparts. Often found in small, active flocks, foraging in the canopy. Listen for its typical high-pitched white-eye calls.
When to spot
Resident year-round. Active during the day. Best observed during mornings in high-altitude forests.
