Scan for fast-flying, small swifts near palm trees, especially where they congregate to feed or roost. Their rapid, direct flight is typical.

Year-round resident, active during daylight hours, particularly visible when foraging for insects.
Like its close relatives, this swift exhibits a strong dependence on palm trees for both nesting and roosting sites.
