Grauer's Broadbill is a rare and strikingly colored broadbill, predominantly green with a blue crown and chest, and a broad, pale bill. It is endemic to the Albertine Rift.

Afromontane forest and bamboo thickets in the Albertine Rift mountains of eastern Democratic Republic of Congo and southwestern Uganda.
How to spot
Observation requires visiting specific, often remote, forest reserves. Look for it foraging quietly in the mid-story. Its calls are distinctive, a series of mellow whistles.
