Dry forests, savannas, agricultural zones, and urban environments across northern South America (Colombia, Venezuela, Guyanas) and some Caribbean islands.
How to spot
Listen for their constant, high-pitched chattering calls. Look for them feeding in trees or flying in fast-moving, often large, flocks. They are generally quite approachable.

Year-round. Active throughout the day, particularly noticeable during early morning and late afternoon when flocks are most vocal.
