Where to spot
Endemic to Rennell Island in the Solomon Islands. Inhabits lowland and secondary forests.
How to spot
Look for its overall olive-brown plumage, sometimes with a yellowish wash on the underparts. Identify it primarily by its strong, clear, and ringing whistled calls, which are a key way to locate it.
