Where to spot
Found on Grande Comore and Moheli islands in the Comoros archipelago, inhabiting forests, plantations, and gardens.
How to spot
Search for small, active birds in the canopy and undergrowth. Their characteristic high-pitched, chattering calls are a good way to locate them.

Active throughout the year, with peak foraging in the mornings and late afternoons.
This species showcases adaptive radiation within the Comoros, with slightly different forms evolving on different islands of the archipelago.
