Where to spot
Endemic to the Mbulu Highlands of northern Tanzania. Inhabits montane evergreen forests, often at higher elevations.
How to spot
Look for its prominent white eye-ring, overall olive-green plumage, and plain yellowish underparts. Often found in small, active flocks, foraging in the canopy. Listen for its typical high-pitched white-eye calls.
When to spot
Resident year-round. Active during the day. Best observed during mornings in high-altitude forests.
