Found on various islands in Samoa, Fiji, and Tonga in the South Pacific. It inhabits lowland and montane forests, often found near coastal areas or in disturbed forest patches.

Look for its unmistakable white plumage with colored patches. It can be found in the canopy of fruiting trees. Given its distinct appearance, it's easier to spot than many other fruit doves, but it can still be shy.
