Klages's Antwren is a small, inconspicuous antwren endemic to a specific region of the Amazon. It inhabits the mid-story of humid lowland forests, often in association with mixed-species flocks.

Restricted to the middle and lower Rio Tapajós region in central Amazonian Brazil.

This species is named after Samuel Klages, a prolific insect collector for the Carnegie Museum. It is a relatively recently described species, highlighting the ongoing discoveries in Amazonian ornithology.
