The Honeyguide Greenbul is a robust, olive-green bulbul with a sturdy bill, named for a superficial resemblance in bill shape to honeyguides. It is a secretive forest species.

Found in West and Central Africa, inhabiting the understory and mid-story of primary and mature secondary rainforests, often in dense thickets.
