Spotted
The Grey-olive Greenbul is a rather drab bulbul, characterized by its olive-green upperparts and grayish underparts. It is a secretive and often elusive species of dense forests.
Where to spot
Found in West and Central Africa, inhabiting primary and mature secondary rainforests, particularly the dense understory.
How to spot
Listen for its distinctive, often rich and varied calls, as visual identification can be challenging due to its camouflage and skulking habits. Patiently scan dense undergrowth.
When to spot
Observable year-round in its resident tropical habitat. Active during daylight hours, especially early morning.
