Where to spot
Widespread across Southeast Asia, including Indochina, the Malay Peninsula, and various islands. Found in forests, woodlands, plantations, and urban areas.
How to spot
Look for it in trees and shrubs, often in areas with fruiting plants. Its bright colors and lively calls make it relatively easy to spot.
When to spot
Year-round, as it is a common resident species.
These bulbuls are very adaptable and can be found in a wide range of habitats, from dense forests to suburban gardens, often seen foraging on fruits.
