The Grey-breasted Martin is a common and widespread swallow found throughout much of Central and South America. It is characterized by its glossy blue-black upperparts and contrasting grey breast and white belly.

Open areas, fields, savannas, forest clearings, urban and suburban areas, throughout Central and South America.
