Where to spot
Found in East and Central Africa, including parts of Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and DR Congo. Inhabits montane and submontane rainforests.
How to spot
Search the mid-story and lower canopy of montane forests. The vibrant yellow belly and eye-wattle are key identification features. Listen for their sharp, buzzing, or clicking calls.

Resident year-round. Active during the day.
