The Semper's Warbler is an extremely rare, possibly extinct, warbler endemic to the island of Saint Lucia. It is characterized by its dull olive-brown plumage, pale throat, and relatively long legs and tail.
Where to spot
Historically endemic to the montane forests of Saint Lucia in the Caribbean.
How to spot
Observation is virtually impossible. Historically, it was sought in dense, wet montane forest undergrowth, often foraging on the ground.
When to spot
No confirmed sightings since 1961. Historically, it would have been a year-round resident in its specific habitat.
