Where to spot
Found in mainland Southeast Asia, including parts of Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and southern China. It inhabits montane evergreen and temperate forests, often in bamboo thickets.

Look for its rufous throat and distinct white eyebrow. It moves actively through the mid-story and undergrowth. Listen for its high-pitched, often trilling and chattering calls.
