Rüppell's Weaver is a medium-sized, strikingly yellow weaver bird, with breeding males having a black face and throat. It is a common species of open woodlands and savannas.
Where to spot
Found in East Africa, primarily in Ethiopia, Eritrea, and Sudan. Inhabits savannas, acacia woodlands, dry bushland, and cultivated areas.
