The Plain White-eye is a species endemic to Palau in Micronesia. It is a small, relatively plain olive-green bird with a noticeable but sometimes faint white eye-ring.
Where to spot
Found exclusively on Palau, Micronesia, inhabiting forests, forest edges, and gardens.
How to spot
Look for small, active birds in the canopy and mid-story. Its relatively plain plumage distinguishes it from more brightly colored white-eyes. Listen for its soft, high-pitched calls.
When to spot
Active year-round, with peak foraging in the mornings and late afternoons.
