When to spot
Active during daylight hours, with peak foraging in the early morning and late afternoon. As a resident species in its tropical range, it can be observed throughout the year.
Despite its name, the paleness of the rump can vary, sometimes appearing more greyish depending on light conditions and individual variation, requiring careful observation.
