Kawall's Amazon is a recently described large parrot species from the central Amazon basin, resembling the Mealy Amazon but distinctively paler and often with a brighter yellowish-white patch on the head.

Humid lowland rainforests in the central Amazon basin of Brazil, often found along major rivers.

Look for its pale, almost frosted appearance, and a larger yellowish-white crown patch compared to the Mealy Amazon. Listen for its distinct vocalizations.
