Humblot's Sunbird is an endemic species to the Comoro Islands. Males feature iridescent green and blue, a red breast, and a yellow belly. It is found in forested habitats.

Named after Léon Humblot, a French naturalist and explorer who worked in the Comoros, this species represents the unique biodiversity of the isolated Comoro archipelago.
