Humblot's Sunbird is an endemic species to the Comoro Islands. Males feature iridescent green and blue, a red breast, and a yellow belly. It is found in forested habitats.

Endemic to the Comoro Islands (specifically Grande Comore, Mohéli, and Mayotte), inhabiting forests, forest edges, and cultivated areas.

Year-round resident. Best observed during morning and late afternoon foraging bouts. Look for it around flowering plants.
Named after Léon Humblot, a French naturalist and explorer who worked in the Comoros, this species represents the unique biodiversity of the isolated Comoro archipelago.
