Where to spot
Found across a wide range of habitats in the Himalayas and Southeast Asia, from India eastward to China and Vietnam, inhabiting forests, open woodlands, and cultivation.
How to spot
Look in forest edges, clearings, and plantations. Listen for their distinctive chattering and whistling calls. They often perch on exposed branches, making them easier to spot.
