The Grey-bellied Tesia is a small, plump, short-tailed warbler with dark olive-green upperparts and grey underparts. It is a skulking inhabitant of dense forest undergrowth.

Inhabits dense undergrowth, bamboo thickets, and wet forests in hilly and mountainous regions across parts of South and Southeast Asia.
