Where to spot
Woodlands, savannas, and forest edges in central South America, including southern Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, and northern Argentina.

Look for them flying overhead in pairs or small groups, often with distinctive calls. They can be found feeding in trees. Their yellow collar is a key identification mark.
