Where to spot
Endemic to central Myanmar. It inhabits dry grasslands, scrubby areas, and cultivated land with scattered bushes.

This species was formerly considered a subspecies of the Plain Prinia but was recently recognized as a distinct species based on vocalizations and genetic differences.
