Where to spot
Endemic to the island of Bali, Indonesia, primarily within Bali Barat National Park and other highly protected areas where reintroduction programs are active.
How to spot
Look for its striking all-white plumage with black wingtips and a vivid blue eye patch. Observing it requires visiting its protected habitats in Bali and often a guide.
When to spot
Year-round resident. Best observed in early morning or late afternoon.
