Where to spot
Endemic to a few highly fragmented patches of humid lowland Atlantic Forest in eastern Brazil, specifically in Bahia state.
How to spot
Due to its extreme rarity, observation is exceptionally challenging. It requires dedicated conservation efforts and often a local guide who knows its highly restricted and declining habitat. Listen for its unique vocalizations.
