A robust and deep-diving Arctic seabird, the Brünnich's Guillemot (or Thick-billed Murre) is similar to the Common Guillemot but possesses a noticeably thicker bill. It forms immense breeding colonies on sheer cliffs and is highly adapted for foraging in cold, deep waters.
