The Solomon Islands White-eye is a widespread species across the Solomon Islands, characterized by its prominent white eye-ring and yellowish-green plumage. It is a common and active resident.
Where to spot
Found on numerous islands throughout the Solomon Islands archipelago, inhabiting forests, forest edges, and gardens.
How to spot
Look for small, active birds with a clear white eye-ring, moving swiftly through foliage, often in mixed-species flocks. Listen for their high-pitched, melodious warbling songs.
When to spot
Active year-round. Most visible during early morning and late afternoon when actively foraging.
