The White-browed Warbler is a small, active warbler with an olive-green back, yellow underparts, and a gray head highlighted by a prominent white supercilium (eyebrow).
Where to spot
Resident in the Andes Mountains of central Colombia.
How to spot
Look in humid montane forests, particularly near water. It forages actively in the undergrowth. Listen for its short, somewhat buzzy song.
When to spot
Can be observed year-round within its resident montane forest habitats. More vocal during the local breeding season.
This species is often found along stream banks and in humid forest undergrowth, where it actively gleans insects from vegetation close to the ground.
