The Western Orphean Warbler is a robust warbler found in southwestern Europe and northwestern Africa. Known for its strong voice, it inhabits open woodlands and scrubland.

Found across the Iberian Peninsula, southern France, Italy, and into northwestern Africa. Prefers open deciduous and evergreen woodlands, orchards, and extensive scrub.
