Where to spot
Found across the Moluccan Islands (e.g., Halmahera, Seram, Buru, Ambon) in eastern Indonesia. Inhabits various habitats including forests, forest edges, gardens, and plantations.
How to spot
Look for its bright white eye-ring, yellowish throat, and olive-green upperparts. Often found in active flocks, foraging for insects and nectar. Listen for its clear, twittering calls.
When to spot
Resident year-round. Active during the day. Easily observed throughout the year.
