The Sangihe Cuckooshrike is a species endemic to the Sangihe Islands of Indonesia, just north of Sulawesi. It is a grey cuckooshrike, typical of island forest environments.
Where to spot
Endemic to the Sangihe Islands, Indonesia, found in lowland and hill forests, including disturbed areas.
How to spot
Scan the mid-canopy of trees in forested areas. Listen for its calls. A local guide familiar with the island's birdlife will be very helpful.
