Where to spot
Dense lowland and montane forests across parts of Southeast Asia, including the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, and Borneo.
How to spot
Look for it actively foraging in the lower to mid-canopy. It can be shy, so patience and quiet observation are important.
When to spot
Year-round resident. Most active in the early morning and late afternoon.
