Endemic to Reunion Island in the western Indian Ocean. Inhabits a variety of habitats, including native forests, cultivated areas, and gardens.
How to spot
Look for its prominent white eye-ring, plain green upperparts, and whitish underparts. Often found in active flocks, foraging for insects and nectar. Listen for its characteristic sweet and melodious song.
