The Reunion White-eye is an endemic species to Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. It is a small, active bird known for its melodious song.
Where to spot
Endemic to Reunion Island in the western Indian Ocean. Inhabits a variety of habitats, including native forests, cultivated areas, and gardens.
How to spot
Look for its prominent white eye-ring, plain green upperparts, and whitish underparts. Often found in active flocks, foraging for insects and nectar. Listen for its characteristic sweet and melodious song.

Resident year-round. Active during the day. Easily observed throughout the year.
