Where to spot
Primarily found in the dense undergrowth of lowland rainforests across Central Africa, from Cameroon to DRC.
How to spot
Use playback sparingly to elicit a response, or simply wait patiently in suitable habitat, listening for its calls.
When to spot
Active during daylight hours. Vocalizations are more prominent during the breeding season and in the early morning.
