The Forest Thrush is an endemic species to the Lesser Antilles, known for its rather uniform dark olive-brown plumage and pale belly. It is quite secretive, inhabiting dense forests.

Dense moist evergreen forests and secondary woodlands on a few islands in the Lesser Antilles, particularly Dominica, Guadeloupe, and St. Lucia.
