Spotted
The Forest Thrush is an endemic species to the Lesser Antilles, known for its rather uniform dark olive-brown plumage and pale belly. It is quite secretive, inhabiting dense forests.
Where to spot
Dense moist evergreen forests and secondary woodlands on a few islands in the Lesser Antilles, particularly Dominica, Guadeloupe, and St. Lucia.
How to spot
Requires quiet observation in dense forest undergrowth. It is shy, so patience is key. Listen for its calls and song, which can help in locating it.
When to spot
