Humid montane cloud forests and forest edges in the Eastern and Central Andes of Colombia.
How to spot
Search for them in the mid-to-upper strata of the forest. They are often encountered in small groups, giving away their presence with their chattering calls.
When to spot
Year-round. Best observed during cooler parts of the day, such as early morning and late afternoon.
