The Ornamented Bunting, also known as the Chestnut-collared Longspur, is a striking grassland bird found in North America. Males display a prominent black belly and chestnut collar during breeding.

Where to spot

Breeds in the prairies of central North America (Canada and U.S.). Winters in the southern U.S. and northern Mexico. Found in shortgrass and mixed-grass prairies.
