The Bridled Honeyeater is a medium-sized honeyeater found in the montane rainforests of New Guinea and far northern Queensland, characterized by a dark line through the eye (the 'bridle').

Scan the canopy and mid-story of montane forests. Look for its dark eye-line. Listen for its calls, which can be quite varied.
