Widespread across Southeast Asia, including the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo, and adjacent islands. Inhabits primary and secondary rainforests, often in the mid-story and lower canopy.

Look for the clear contrast between its grey head and olive-green body. Listen for its loud, melodious calls. It often joins mixed-species flocks.

Observable year-round in its resident tropical habitat. Most active and vocal during the early morning and late afternoon.
