Lanyon's Bristle Tyrant is a recently described species of the Atlantic Forest, named in honor of ornithologist Wesley E. Lanyon. It's a small, inconspicuous bird of humid forests.

Humid montane forests of the Atlantic Forest biome in southeastern Brazil.
