The Many-striped Antwren is aptly named for the numerous fine streaks across its body, making it a distinctive small antwren. It prefers the mid-story to canopy of humid forests.
Where to spot
Upper Amazon Basin, primarily in eastern Peru, western Brazil, and southeastern Colombia.
How to spot
Search in the mid-to-upper levels of humid lowland rainforests. It often joins mixed-species flocks. Its patterned plumage is the key identifier, but patience is needed as it moves quickly.

Active throughout the year. Best observed during early mornings when foraging activity is highest.
