Dusky Moorhen

The Dusky Moorhen is a common and conspicuous water bird found in freshwater wetlands across Australia and New Guinea. It is characterized by its entirely dusky-black plumage, a prominent red frontal shield and bill with a yellow tip, and yellow legs. This species is often seen in urban parks.
