The Western Corella is a medium-sized white cockatoo endemic to southwestern Australia, similar to the Little Corella but with a longer beak adapted for digging.

Open woodlands, grasslands, and agricultural areas in southwestern Western Australia.
How to spot
Look for its entirely white plumage, pale yellowish wash on the underwings and face, and especially its long, prominent upper mandible. Its calls are loud and raucous, similar to other corellas.
When to spot
Active during the day, often seen foraging on the ground in flocks. Observable year-round.
