The Striated Fieldwren is a small, streaky brown, ground-dwelling bird found in southeastern Australia. It inhabits wet heaths, sedgelands, and damp grasslands. Its cryptic plumage provides excellent camouflage, making it difficult to spot, but its persistent song often reveals its presence.
