The Rose-ringed Parakeet, scientifically known as Psittacula krameri, is a highly adaptable and widely distributed parrot species belonging to the family Psittaculidae. Native to parts of Africa and the Indian subcontinent, it has successfully established numerous feral populations across the globe, becoming a common sight in urban parks and gardens far from its original range.
