Where to spot
Endemic to the humid montane forests of the western and central Andes of Colombia, particularly in the Antioquia department.
How to spot
Search the mid-story and canopy of montane forests, especially along edges. Listen for its high-pitched, often repetitive calls.
When to spot
Most active during the morning. It is a resident species, observable year-round within its restricted range.
