Where to spot
Mid-altitude montane forests of New Guinea.
How to spot
Look for them feeding in the upper canopy of flowering trees. Their calls are high-pitched and somewhat trilling, characteristic of lorikeets.

Year-round, active throughout the day, particularly when foraging for nectar and pollen.
