The Grey-streaked Flycatcher (*Muscicapa griseisticta*) is a migratory Asian flycatcher, named for the fine grey streaking on its breast and flanks. It has a relatively long tail and a somewhat upright posture.
Where to spot
Breeds in northeastern Asia, including Siberia, Korea, and Japan. It migrates south to winter across Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, Indonesia, and New Guinea. Inhabits woodlands, forests, and gardens.
How to spot
Look for its streaked breast, greyish-brown plumage, and upright posture. Watch for its characteristic sallying flights to catch insects. Listen for its soft, thin calls.
